Smugglers Puddings approached us as we had previously carried out some work for the owners of another company in their portfolio, Smugglers Catering. They wanted to create a new direction for their product, which had experienced a slump in sales and, having seen the benefits that our redesign had brought for their catering business, they were keen for us to do the same for Smugglers Puddings.

The first stage in any project we work on is to ensure we have a real understanding of the client’s needs, objectives, and expectations. Following an in-depth consultation, we decided that the best approach would be to completely re-launch the company with a totally new brand and a new name to boot. We pitched the name ‘The Suffolk Pudding Co.’ and the new brand was born.

To reinforce the new name and branding, we designed a new logo. We then set to work on new packaging, which involved researching and sourcing appropriate freezer proof card and stickers. To reduce the company’s costs, as outlined as an aim in their original brief, the packaging featured all 6 of their delicious cheesecakes with the relevant product indicated with an “I’m inside” sticker.

Priding ourselves on taking care of every step of the production process, we art directed the entire project and provided all food photography, capturing their range of tasty treats in all their best light.

The Results

When Smugglers re-launched the products to East of England Coop, they saw orders double in the first two months and a significant reduction in packaging costs thanks to our inventive new design. Following the launch, sales continued to boom for 6 months and several new business stockists were secured, creating a huge boost for the baking business!

Our Approach

Over the years, we have constantly been working to improve and enhance the brand’s website – experimenting with new things and adding new features.

We implemented a completely responsive design, making Smugglers Catering one of, if not the first catering websites in the UK to be fully responsive. As a result, sales and leads instantly increased and over 90% of the company’s income now comes directly via leads from their website.

Wedding catering is a huge part of the company’s business. So, to enhance their customers’ overall experience, we developed an innovative wedding package builder to help happy couples design their perfect wedding meal – offering information alongside inspiration and ideas.

We also designed the brand’s logo, website, literature, and advertising banners to bring the brand to life.

The Results

We’ve had loads of great feedback about our work with Smugglers Catering - their clients love how easy the website is to use, particularly little details such as a tappable telephone number to call them directly. The fact that the company now achieves over 90% of its business from the website is testament to our success.

At Little Polar Apps, we work with companies of all different shapes and sizes – from well-established corporate companies, to new and exciting community projects, start-up businesses and charities. No job is too big or too small!
Revived is a forward-thinking, youth inclusion project set up by the owner of Little Polar Apps, Ian Tearle. The project brings together an enthusiastic group of young dancers who want to perform for the God they love through Hip-Hop dance and performance, using the skills and talents He gave them.

Our Approach

We started working on this brand from its conception, so everything had to be designed from scratch and we had a blank slate to play with! We felt it was really important that the branding and merchandise reflected the youthful nature of the organisation and was easy for the target audience to relate to.

Working closely with the dancers and young people involved in the project, we designed an edgy new logo and a collection of cool t-shirts. We also designed a website, allowing Revived to showcase the young people involved in the project, enable the audience to follow their events and performances and help to attract new dancers to the group.

In line with the team’s aims and objectives, we kept everything fresh, clean-cut, and energetic.

The Results

The main aim of the project was to create a brand identity that would be accessible to a young target audience, as well as reflect the organisation’s energetic, inclusive, and exciting ethos.

Both the branding and the website were extremely well received by the target audience and the project has grown significantly as a result.

TISRESPECT is an exciting Artist Development Company committed to producing and showcasing upcoming, local artists. Offering a range of services, including studio recording, audio post production, creative mentorship and artistic development, the brand aims to support music in the heart of Suffolk, achieving a professional standard and inspiring creative culture throughout local communities.
Curtis, the company’s founder, approached us looking for advice on his previous website – he was keen to hear our thoughts on what could be done differently and what we thought of the general look and feel of the site.

Our Approach

Having discussed Curtis’ aims, objectives, and requirements in detail, we identified a number of usability issues with the site. We also felt that it wasn’t working hard enough for the brand or accurately portraying what the company stands for. Taking our feedback into account, Curtis then offered us the opportunity to totally rebrand the site, introducing a brand new design and improved user experience.

We built the new TISRESPECT site on our own CMS to give Curtis and his team full control of the site, allowing them to upload their own content and keep it up to date once the site was launched.

The website was designed to ensure it was responsive and accessible on all browsers and devices. We also built in a client portfolio space to allow Curtis to showcase and promote his previous work on the site.

The Results

The new website allows TISRESPECT to showcase their existing clients and inform potential clients about their services.

Curtis was really happy with the new website and told us that his clients and friends also loved the new look. Since the site was re-launched, Curtis has found it to be a powerful tool, allowing him to gain new business.

Accurate Armour is a manufacturer and supplier of scale military models, selling directly to the public as well as to specialist model shops and dealers all over the world. You will find over 800 of their own products on their website, as well as a number of other products and tools to compliment their range of models.
The brand approached us for advice following a deliberate attack on their website which involved the insertion of spam on their customer facing pages.

Our Approach

Having carefully examined and analysed their existing setup, we offered our expert advice and proposed an effective, alternative solution to their current website. Our proposal was very well received by the team, especially as it represented a considerable saving in comparison to their current web developers.

We built Accurate Armour a brand new ecommerce website on our own CMS, converting their existing site into a new, fully responsive web design.

Thanks to our bespoke CMS, the company can now enjoy the freedom to request bespoke, custom elements that previously wouldn’t have been able to access. We have given them unique tools and the ability to message their customers following a sale directly from within the CMS. They can now also manage all their products within a simple admin interface, saving them time whilst making the entire process more efficient.

The Results

The client’s existing customer base reported that they really appreciated the new design, benefiting from a fast checkout experience and a new, more powerful search. The company has also steadily increased sales month on month since the re-launch.
